April 2022 - New York Theatre Barn Workshop
Chilina Kennedy & Eric Holmes' new musical, now renamed With(out) Her had a presentation at New York Theatre Barn. The cast featured Marc deLa Cruz, Rebecca Faulkenberry, Jeigh Madjus, Jay McKenzie, Oliver Oguma, and Nasia Thomas.
The presentation was held as part of their acclaimed New Works Series at TheatreLab on Monday, April 11, 2022
September 2021 - Public Concert
Chilina Kennedy & Eric Holmes' new musical Call It Love had its first public concert in Stratford, ON. The cast featured Brandon Antonio, Dan Chameroy, Robert Markus, Jennifer Rider-Shaw and Yemie Sonuga.
Performances were held at the Stratford Perth Museum September 3-12, 2021.
December 2020 - ZOOM Reading
Zoom reading of the new musical, CALL IT LOVE, composed and written by , Chilina Kennedy, and Eric Holmes
This stellar project included Jenni Burke, Jenn Colella, Sara Farb, Daren Herbert, Robert Markus.
Directed by Robert McQueen, with music director Adam Sakiyama, and orchestrator / music supervisor Rick Fox.
March 2020 - Private Read-Through
Private read through of a new version of Call It Love featured Jenn Colella, Chilina Kennedy, Charlie Pollock, Ryan Vona, and music director/arranger Rick Fox.
April 2019 - Reading at 'Midtown Direct Rep'
On April 8th, 2019, a concert reading of Call It Love was presented by Midtown Direct Rep in Maplewood, New Jersey. The performance was followed by an open forum, where the audience was invited to ask questions and offer feedback.

March 2019 - Private Read-Through
Cast and creative team gathered to read and sing through the show. The new draft introduced the character of Billy - Olivia's 18 year old son - and featured several new songs. We now see the story through Billy’s eyes, and watch Olivia’s life unfold as he pieces together her complicated history.

An in studio recording session was held to create demo tracks of two songs from the show.

October 2018 - Reading at 'My Father's Place'
The first public performance of Call It Love was presented on October 28th, 2018 at My Father’s Place Supper Club in Roslyn, NY. It featured a brand new book co-written by Eric and Chilina, plus updated versions of Chilina’s original songs. The cast was accompanied by a four piece band, including Music Director Rick Fox on Piano, Nathan Brown on Guitar, Brian Raddock on Drums, and Pete Donovan on Bass.

The reading was produced in association with Denise Wolfbliss, and in consultation with Brian Spector.
September 2018 - 'Birdland' Concert
The music of Call It Love was performed as a song cycle at Birdland Jazz Club on September 10th, 2018. The cast featured Jenn Colella, Morgan Weed, Charlie Pollock, Tony LePage, and Chilina Kennedy. They were accompanied by Music Director Rick Fox on Piano, Nathan Brown on Guitar, Brian Raddock on Drums, and Ivan Bodley on Bass.
September 2018 - First Family & Friends Reading
The first reading of Call It Love was presented on September 7th, 2018 at Ripley Grier Studios. Eric Holmes and Chilina Kennedy collaborated to create a narrative surrounding original songs from Chilina’s album What You Find In a Bottle. This early draft focused on the complex intermingling of Olivia’s relationships with Michael, Jessica, and Thomas, and the decisions she was forced to make in the face of a life-threatening surgery. New songs and scenes were added throughout the weeklong workshop, as well as some new orchestrations by music director Rick Fox.
